Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Application of wax and/or moisture content according to customer specifications.
- Able to figure count per thousand.
- Understands the core sizes, unwinds, O.D. different colored flags.
- Check labels for imperfections.
- Run machine at maximum run speed.
- Follows splice procedure.
- Adjust wax/moister application quantity based on in-line and final output testing.
- General maintenance (cleanup) on machine and area.
- Take samples required on Factory order.
- Communicate to press how a specific job is running and whether extra needs to be run to prevent a backorder.
- Read and understand factory orders to ensure all specifics are followed for a particular order.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team.
- Meet attendance standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Wage is based on experience working on similar machines.
TRAINING ILL BE DONE ON 2ND SHIFT (Monday through Thursday 2:30 pm to 12:30 am)!
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
- Must be adaptable for cross-training in other production areas as needed.
- Must be able to establish effective working relationships with supervisors, and peers.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as a team.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
