RMC has an Instructional Systems Designer position supporting the Occupational Health and Safety Program of a large federal agency. The selected applicant will demonstrate experience in graphic design of instructional materials, web-based content, agency news articles, bulletins, and videos.
Selected applicants will also have experience working with applications such as Canva, Adobe Premier, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Ideal candidates will have experience with the management of web page content and the use of applications such as SharePoint, MS Power Apps, and MS Forms.
Other job duties include:
- Assist in the development of safety-based content, news articles, bulletins, and related videos.
- Administration of the SharePoint portal used for the communication of safety-based content.
- Design of graphics associated with outreach posters, web pages, training content, and newsletters.
- Design and maintenance of content distributed on external and internal websites to include, but not limited to: Program information, employee communications, training registrations, and course evaluations.
Requirements
- This position requires an active Public Trust clearance. The selected qualified candidate must be able to successfully pass a DHS/TSA background investigation and clearance process.
- Must have ten (10) years of experience in graphic arts, or studio arts, including two (2) years of recent experience preparing audiovisual productions and presentations. A degree in graphic arts, or studio arts is highly desired.
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Office applications in a PC-based development system and the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign, and Acrobat).
- This position may require up to 10% travel.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually.
