Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and driven Data Scientist to join their Defense & Intelligence Team, working with the Intelligence Community as the primary customer. You will apply cutting-edge research to analyze complex data, develop robust models using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and related tools, and contribute to advancing analytic tradecraft in a fast-evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced machine learning models for object detection and computer vision applications.
- Integrate and organize data from diverse sources into cohesive and actionable formats.
- Train and fine-tune foundation models to address real-world intelligence questions.
- Develop concise documentation, reports, and graphical representations for decision-makers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including government, industry, and academic stakeholders.
- Perform complex analyses and communicate results effectively.
- Maintain flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and tasks.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with the required Polygraph (Full Scope preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Data Science.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R programming.
- Hands-on experience with Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or Object Detection techniques.
- Familiarity with standard tools such as Microsoft Office and sponsor computing networks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a technical field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Prior experience with PyTorch, Keras, or overhead imagery applications.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and facilitating consensus across teams.
