Credit Key is a B2B payment solutions company based in Los Angeles, California and offers a "Buy Now, Pay Later" financing solution for B2B sellers. 

Credit Key provides instant financing decisions and approvals up to $1,000,000 with flexible payment terms from Net 30 to Installments out to 12 months. This allows merchants to increase sales, revenue, customer acquisition and conversions by offering their customers the ability to buy now, and pay on their time.

Credit Key currently operates in the United States and sources capital through a combination of debt facilities and equity funding from investors like Redbird Capital, Bonfire Ventures, and Greycroft.

As an Strategic B2B Account Executive - Ecommerce Merchants  in Sales at Credit Key, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by identifying and cultivating new ecommerce merchant opportunities within the online B2B space. Leveraging your exceptional sales skills and deep understanding of financial technology, you will collaborate with businesses of all sizes to deliver tailored commerce solutions that meet their unique needs.

What you'll do

  • Acquire new B2B customers across the US through your existing network and experience. Build and manage a strong, reliable pipeline
  • Own and drive the entire deal cycle from prospecting to close for new logos 
  • Identify new companies, use cases and prospects through research with help of our Business Development, Partnership, and Marketing team
  • Provide regular reporting against KPIs, metrics and targets. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, sales activities, and progress in the CRM system
  • Ensure the best customer experience and on-boarding process for new customers
  • Negotiate commercial contracts in conjunction with Legal, Finance and Strategy through to execution

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Your sales experience includes 5 to 7 years in fintech or payments software
  • A top performing sales professional with a proven track record of new business solution selling, ideally within B2B payment sales and with lean startup or small org experience
  • Strong understanding of B2B payment processes and challenges faced by businesses in managing cash flow. Experience with ERPs like Netsuite, INFOR, and EPICOR is a plus
  • A technical mindset, with prior experience in selling API-driven solutions
  • Besides strong analytical skills and an organized way of working, you will have excellent communication and solution selling selling skills (directly tailored to customer needs) and experience in identifying and influencing key decision makers and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools to effectively manage and track leads and opportunities
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
