Role Overview

A dynamic, innovative, and strategy-driven Social Strategist and Community Manager is sought to lead the brand’s growth and engagement across organic social media channels and community platforms. This role involves shaping the social strategy, conceptualizing creative campaigns, and setting strategies to amplify, celebrate, and support the community.

In this role, the individual will drive meaningful connections with the audience by creating authentic content, leveraging user-generated content (UGC), and fostering a loyal, engaged community. A deep curiosity about the product features and benefits is essential to speak confidently about how the tools empower families and improve their lives. By building trust, amplifying customer stories, and delivering innovative campaigns, the individual will play a critical role in shaping the social presence, brand voice, and fostering positive community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

- Create and execute organic social media strategies to grow the presence on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other key platforms.

- Collaborate with design and UGC creators to produce high-quality visuals, videos, and copy tailored to each platform.

- Confidently create content independently, including appearing on camera to connect authentically with the community.

- Lead creative campaign ideation, partnering with marketing, design, and product teams to develop and execute brand-building initiatives.

Community Amplification & Engagement

- Set and execute strategies for building, engaging with, and responding to the community across platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, discussion forums, and the Facebook Group.

- Amplify customer stories, celebrate community achievements, and drive UGC to strengthen audience relationships and brand loyalty.

Insights & Optimization

- Define, track, and analyze KPIs for social media and community engagement, using insights to inform strategy and experiment with innovative approaches.

- Monitor performance data, industry trends, and emerging platforms to keep the brand at the forefront of social innovation.

- Regularly report on social and community metrics, highlighting opportunities for growth and innovation.

Collaboration

- Partner with Lifecycle Marketing to align social strategies with email, SMS, and retention campaigns for a seamless customer journey.

- Collaborate with Design to ensure brand consistency across creative assets and social platforms.

- Work with Customer Experience to proactively engage with customers, integrate feedback, and celebrate the community authentically.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in social media management and community strategy, ideally with consumer goods, software, hardware, or lifestyle brands.

- Proven success in growing engaged audiences across social platforms with measurable results.

- Strong understanding of community dynamics, with experience in building, nurturing, and sustaining active and loyal online communities.

- Clear and confident point of view on how a brand should show up on social media, with the ability to balance creativity and strategic objectives.

- Expertise in driving user-generated content and customer advocacy.

- Proficient with social analytics tools to track performance and refine strategies (e.g., Google Analytics) and content creation platforms (e.g., Capcut, Canva).

- Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, and visual content skills.

- Comfortable creating content independently and appearing on camera to connect with the community authentically.

- Preferred: Experience managing professional platforms like LinkedIn or content-driven platforms such as Substack.

- Preferred: Basic familiarity with Figma.

Compensation

- Competitive salary ranging from $105,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
