We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager, Operations & Product to lead and coordinate cross-functional efforts for the successful launch of new products, optimization of existing products, supply chain improvement projects, and other operational initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring seamless execution of projects, on-time delivery, and alignment across teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, cross-functional coordination, well versed with project management tools and a deep understanding of the product development process for consumer packaged goods. This person is able to understand the balance of driving team members for results and ensuring a positive company culture by demonstrating empathy.
Requirements
Position Responsibilities:
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Product Launch Coordination:
- Lead cross-functional teams (operations, marketing, supply chain, product development) to deliver new product launches on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables for all product launch activities.
Software Implementation:
- Oversee the timeline and deliverables for the implementation of operational systems, ensuring alignment across all teams.
- Act as the central point of contact to track progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure successful deployment.
Supply Chain & Cost-Reduction Initiatives:
- Track and report on key milestones for supply chain improvements, cost-reduction initiatives, and operational efficiency projects.
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Demand Planning & Analytics Development:
- Support the creation and implementation of demand planning dashboards and analytics tools to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Coordinate with data and analytics teams to ensure tools meet operational needs.
Communication & Stakeholder Alignment:
- Serve as the primary liaison between operations and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of priorities.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager, with a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects in operations or product development.
- Strong understanding of the product development process, from concept to launch.
- Experience in supply chain, operations, or ERP implementation (NetSuite experience is a plus).
- Proficient in project management tools such as Monday.com (preferred), Asana, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Well versed in Excel/Google Sheets
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field. PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
- Time and Budget Management: Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present updates and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
