Data Scientist / Analyst

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist/Analyst to join our team. You will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making and product innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess large and complex datasets.
• Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct in-depth EDA to uncover insights and patterns.
• Feature Engineering: Create and engineer relevant features to improve model performance.
• Model Development and Training: Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models, including classification, regression, clustering, and time series analysis.
• Model Deployment: Deploy models into production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Model Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and informative visualizations to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business analysts.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
• Strong proficiency in SQL 
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data mining techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Matplotlib.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with our tech stack and working with the data in each would be preferred (amplitude and stripe, followed by domo, segment, braze)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision.
• A strong understanding of business needs and how data can drive business decisions.
