Production Manager for Range Ward

We are looking for a skilled production manager to become responsible for daily management and scheduling of our in-house production in the US and Canada. This person should be capable of keeping timelines, offering strategic and creative production solutions, as well as an ability to work independently and possess the aptitude and flexibility to learn and implement new processes.

This candidate will:

• Create and manage in-house production schedules, ensuring that processes are within budget and on time
• Oversee and become responsible for the efficient fabrication of all Range Ward equipment
• Build an intimate knowledge of production processes as well as raw material needs
• Hold manufacturing team to goals, timelines and measures of quality
• Ensure that safety protocols are established and adhered to
• Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems and opportunities impacting production
• Communicate and coordinate finished product timelines and availability to sales team

Requirements

• 4 year degree preferable
• Minimum of 4 years experience working in production management (manufacturing)
• Experience working with computer based work orders and inventory management systems
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Ability to “see around the corners” for possible problems/bottle-necks and new opportunities
• Clear communicator, ability to hold labor accountability
• Agriculture experience preferred
