• Title: Gameplay Engineer
• Salary: $135K - $165K
• Requirements: 3+ years game development experience
• Location: 100% Remote

Our client, a remote-friendly gaming startup, is seeking a Gameplay Engineer to join their passionate team. The person in this role will join a small, fully remote team, and work on an exciting multiplayer action title. You will interact closely with Designers, Artists, and other Engineers to architect/implement gameplay systems throughout the game

Requirements

• At least 3 years of game development experience
• Shipped at least 1 high-quality AAA game (for PC or Console)
• Strong programming background and C++ knowledge
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Hands-on experience with gameplay systems (like AI, Animation, Combat, and Missions)
• Experience profiling/optimizing game performance
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders
• Must love games/gaming!

Nice to Haves

• Exp with MMO or Action RPG game development
• Exp with procedural world/dungeon generation algorithms
• Exp working on a distributed team spread across several time zones
• Unreal Engine 4 experience
