Role Summary
Under the direction of the CEO, the Clinical Therapist will deliver direct therapeutic services, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, crisis intervention, and discharge planning. Our therapists support clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges in a warm, inclusive environment.
Essential Duties
- Client Services: Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy services to a diverse range of clients.
- Timely Documentation: Complete all documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and session notes, within 48 hours.
- Collaboration: Work closely with TKCC’s team and external partners to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Caseload Management: Maintain a minimum caseload of 24 clients weekly and support TKCC’s outreach and marketing efforts to grow client engagement.
- Advocacy & Resources: Connect clients with relevant community resources to support their mental health and well-being.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Licensure: Must be licensed or actively working toward licensure as an MSW, MFT, or LPC.
- Experience: Proficiency in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices; experience with diverse and marginalized populations.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, electronic health records, and social media platforms.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, cultural competency, and the ability to work with clients from varied backgrounds.
Position Requirements
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and local community resources.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license.
- Flexibility in work arrangements, including occasional evenings and weekends.
