What You'll Do:

The Operations Team is responsible for the Transportation, Warehousing and Logistics Procurement part of SkyCell. They ensure that SkyCell containers always perform to their best by coordinating processes with the Service Centers and Positioning partners. They monitor each unit closely through our global network of Service Centers and partners that are carefully evaluated and trained in all relevant processes. Furthermore, they ensure our units are available at any time, at any destination as per our customer’s needs. Operations actively manages our reverse logistics, taking into consideration costs, lead time and Service Center capabilities. Additionally they build up customs processes and optimize our growing network on a regular basis.

In this role you'll also:

    • Inspect and test equipment to identify malfunctions
    • Diagnose problems and develop solutions to repair temperature-controlled containers
    • Repair or replace defective components or parts
    • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns
    • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
    • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure proper equipment operation
    • Follow safety procedures and regulations
    • Stay up to date with industry advancements and technological changes

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

    • High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Associate’s degree in a technical field
    • Relevant experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues preferred
    • Experience in a related field, such as manufacturing, construction, maintenance or HVAC
    • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Technical knowledge and understanding of machinery and systems
    • Familiarity with hand and power tools
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
