Inside Sales Account Manager – Medical Equipment
About the Role
Our financially stable and profitable client is seeking Inside Sales Account Managers to join their internal sales team. As an Account Manager, you will manage an established portfolio within a defined territory, fostering strong client relationships and driving sales growth. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored medical equipment solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts within an established territory, acting as the main point of contact for all customer-related matters.
- Consistently grow sales within the assigned territory through proactive outreach and relationship management.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding client objectives and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Conduct virtual and phone-based sales meetings, providing product information and customized solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and delivery of medical equipment.
- Follow up regularly with customers to provide updates on account status, product availability, and future business opportunities.
- Identify and address customer concerns in a timely and professional manner to maintain satisfaction and retention.
- Partner with your Sales Manager to stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunities.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory a minimum of 5 days per quarter, with occasional trade shows.
- Proven inside sales or account management experience in the medical equipment industry or a related field.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
