Full Job Description
Our Company: BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names, such as Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, CeCe, 1.state and Parker.
Description of Responsibilities
This position is responsible for contributing to the profit and growth of BCI Brands, through retail reporting, analyzing key performance trends, distribution, competition, and account strategic planning. The core function entails working cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal/external teams to create an effective business management process, metrics reporting, data analysis and results tracking,
Responsibilities:
- Support and direct the development, analysis, and reporting of retail performance of BCI Brands
- Fiscal sales and sell-through
- Gross margin and profitability tracking
- Best and slowest sellers and action plans
- Facilitate and implement pre-market planning
- Participate in the development of top-down budgets by brand prior to market campaign
- Coordinate and analyze all pricing to ensure/maintain profitability
- Perform statistical analysis using historical data and current trends to recommend strategies to achieve goals and objectives
- Analyze sales campaign bookings by category and customer and identify opportunities and areas for improvement
- Partner with account executives, brand managers, and the executive team to maximize opportunities and manage risks
- Develop and manage historical performance database
- Direct the Basic Replenishment program through demand forecasting, inventory control, retail performance, and program changes
- Research competitive comparisons and benchmarks and to gain market-share
- Stimulate proactive and forward-thinking analysis, while coaching and developing the department team’s competencies
Requirements
- 5-8 years of prior analytical experience and Retail Math
- Advanced MS Excel understanding (formulas, pivot tables, linking); Excel macros or Access) preferred
- VBA/SQL experience preferred
- Results driven; strategic, conceptual and innovative thinker
- Excellent organizational and multi-talking skills adhering to deadlines and ensuring accuracy
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- College degree preferred
The annual salary range for this full-time, permanent position is dependent upon experience between $125,000-$150,000.
