Senior HVAC Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects based on specifications and requirements.
• Analyze blueprints and technical documents to assess project scope and identify any potential challenges.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to obtain necessary pricing and materials information.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data for accurate estimations.
• Compile and maintain a database of cost information and previous project estimates for future reference.
• Provide recommendations on pricing strategies and bid submissions to improve competitiveness.
• Support the project management team in budget development and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong HVAC background - design built, Mechanical Engineering knowledge, experience in all HVAC fields
• 7+ years of experience in HVAC estimating, with a proven track record in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation processes.
• Proficient in estimating software and tools (e.g., AccuBid, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
