About the Role:

We are seeking Advanced Care Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) to join our expanding Internal Medicine teams and collaborate closely with our Chief Medical Officers. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and bring an innovative, forward-thinking approach to their work. Candidates should possess strong internal medicine knowledge and have experience in urgent care, primary care, or family medicine, with a comfort level in treating the adult population.

Essential Job Duties:

• Perform a variety of CT, MR, Dexa and X-ray imaging procedures and functions that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on members/patients of all age groups
• Prepare and position patients accurately for specific examinations, observing different and special requirements for each protocol, ensuring proper documentation
• Assume responsibilities for designated areas of Xray, Mammography and Dexa, producing high-quality technical images and reviewing completed exams for quality and completeness
• Troubleshoot departmental technical issues according to correct procedural guidelines
• Practice and employ ALARA principles for all patients and Members
• Ensure all QC sheets are completed accurately
• Must have knowledge of regulatory safety requirements relating to MRI exams and equipment
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public
• Knowledge of concepts, standards, procedures and equipment
• Must be able to work extended hours when necessary
• Complete additional duties as assigned
  

Compensation:

$55-65hr

Requirements

• Experienced with, or exposure to, MRI and CT cross training
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
• High school diploma plus a degree from a 2 year AMA approved Radiology school
• ARRT registration and NY State Radiologic Technology license
• NYS DOH Certification for Injection preferred but not required
