Full Job Description

LAM Design, a Mod Op Company, is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive with a proven track record to identify new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive our growth in branding, packaging, and brand activation. Reporting directly to the EVP of Client Success, this role focuses on industries such as CPG and OTC products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Planning: Collaborate with EVP to create and execute plans that drive growth, meet KPIs, and enhance client relationships.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and target prospective clients across a range of industries, aligned with the agency's core services.
  • Outreach & Engagement: Utilize NextGen and traditional outbound strategies (LinkedIn, emails, calls, networking) and inbound methods (social media, blogs) to connect with, build and establish relationships with decision-makers.
  • Relationship Building: Initiate and promote long-term client partnerships, keeping them engaged through consistent communication and follow-up.
  • Agency Services: Cross-sell other Mod Op services including advertising, digital marketing, and social.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and present compelling pitches showcasing the agency’s strengths. Includes supporting other Mod Op agency teams with their presentation needs.
  • Proposal Development: Partner with Mod Op internal teams to craft proposals.
  • CRM Management: Maintain client and prospect data, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities.
  • KPI Monitoring: Track and report performance metrics such as lead conversion, pitch success, and revenue growth.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities.
  • AI/ML Awareness: Explore AI/ML advancements to expand service offerings and optimize sales tools.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of business development experience with branding, packaging, creative or marketing agencies.
  • Proven success in identifying and closing deals, managing client relationships, and growing business.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, digital marketing tools, and industry trends.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Google Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
