Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Base Build HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems in base building facilities to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
Responsibilities
· Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
· Identify and repair HVAC system malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
· Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
· Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and contractors to address complex HVAC issues.
· Monitor and analyze HVAC system performance data to recommend improvement opportunities.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and work orders.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while handling HVAC equipment.
· Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to base build HVAC maintenance.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred.
· Proven experience in base build HVAC maintenance and repairs.
· Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components.
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
· Good communication and customer service skills.
· Audit compliance: Ensuring that maintenance processes and activities meet specified standards, regulations, and best practices. This may involve reviewing maintenance records, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
