Do you have an interest in monitoring and survelliance? Love the hustle and bustle of a busy clinic? Enjoy maintaining a safe and secure environment? Join ROC as a Security Guard! We'd love to show you what it's like to work here. This position will remain posted until filled.
You would be responsible for ensuring our facilities are a safe place for our patients and employees, with a focus on our Surgery Center. You would play a vital role in improving our patient's lives each day by assessing the clinic premises for any potential or active safety issues. The ability to be attentive to the needs of the facility to maintain a friendly space for everyone. Develop strong relationships with patients and staff members and find your people here at ROC.
ROC is expanding with two more operating suites opening the beginning of 2025 as we welcome seven new surgeons to our team. Join our team to be part of the growth and excitement!
What would you do as a Security Guard?
You can expect to regularly:
- Implement and manage security policies and procedures to safeguard the clinic's premises, assets, and personnel;
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and address potential threats;
- Deescalate situations that affect personnel and/or patients;
- Manage company process and protocols for security-related incidents and emergencies;
- Investigate and document security incidents, providing detailed reports to management;
- Monitor and authorize access for staff, patients, and visitors, maintaining a secure environment;
- Patrol premises to ensure security and safety on the property, conduct security checks, and escort visitors and staff as needed.
*Note: This position is considered a Safety-Sensitive position, and incumbents may be subject to drug screening (both before and during employment).
Requirements
Certifications/Education
- High School Diploma/GED;
- Valid driver’s license;
- 25+ years of age due to insurance requirements;
Knowledge of:
- Electronic security systems, access control, and surveillance technologies;
- HIPAA and OSHA regulations/procedures;
- Customer service principles and practices;
Experience:
- One (1) year of experience in a similar position.
Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants?
- Experience in law enforcement
Travel: May require travel to and from other locations based on business need.
