Positions Open: Cashier, Kitchen Member, Buffet Attendant, porter, and Diner Ambassador.
Position Summary: The Cashier at Miss J's Cafe is responsible for managing the front-line customer experience by processing transactions, handling cash and card payments, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process. This role also involves providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized front area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they approach the counter and assist with menu questions.
- Accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Provide customers with receipts and ensure all items are correctly charged.
- Handle customer concerns or issues in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, including sanitizing surfaces.
