Full Job Description
We are currently seeking candidates for a "Direct Hire" Robotic Press Operator / Tool Room Helper position with a leading Tier 1 automotive company in Sterling Heights, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience as a Press Operator or Tool Room Helper who are eager to advance their careers in press operations.
Position Details:
- Wage Range: $25 - $30/hour
- Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, with Friday hours as needed)
- Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull and set dies for repairs and preventative maintenance
- Assist with in-die changeovers
- Start-up, shutdown, and changeover of robotic and press-related equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks
- Maintain the robotic press line to standard operating conditions
- Conduct safety and automation inspections
- Cutting banding, final inspection, and labeling of finished goods
- Housekeeping, record-keeping, and scrap removal
