Computer Network Support Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time/Contingent

Salary Range: $105K-$114K (depending on experience)
Work Location: Hybrid remote/in-office. (see onsite requirements below)

**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training/tasking may require occasional on-site work at Patuxent River, MD. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

• Analyzes, tests, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing network systems, such as Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Internet systems.
• Performs network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
• Registers/maintains/supports networks/servers/applications in databases and tools.
• Retrieves data, creates reports and maintains IT systems.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• Experience in computer network support required.
• At least (3) years of experience performing work related to the labor category.
• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR has one of the identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications of: CompTIA Cloud+; CompTIA Security+; CEH; CFR; GICSP; or SSCP.

Security Clearance:
Active Secret or Interim Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR has one of the identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications of: CompTIA Cloud+; CompTIA Security+; CEH; CFR; GICSP; or SSCP.
