Full Job Description
The Communications Specialist develops and implements comprehensive communications strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives. They produce high-quality written content for various communications channels, including press releases, reports, presentations, and internal communications. To be eligible for this position, the candidate must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Manage and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) from various stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.
- Assist in managing communication during crisis situations, providing timely and accurate information to mitigate impact.
- Ensure all communications are consistent with the organization’s mission, values, and messaging guidelines.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of communications strategies and initiatives, using data to inform improvements. They take direction from more senior personnel.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools.
- Ability to work on several products concurrently while managing competing deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal skills.
- This position is 100% onsite.
