Franchise Paralegal

Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting legal teams and franchise operations? City Wide Franchise is seeking a dedicated Franchise Paralegal to join our dynamic corporate team!

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the legal and compliance aspects of our franchise system, ensuring that our franchises operate within the legal framework while maintaining operational efficiency. You will assist in preparing and reviewing franchise documents, managing filings, and supporting the legal team in various research and administrative tasks.

As a key member of our organization, you will be instrumental in helping City Wide maintain its growth and integrity in the franchise industry.

What you will do...

• Assist in the preparation and review of franchise disclosure documents (FDDs), agreements, and related legal documents.
• Research and compile franchise-related regulations and compliance requirements to support franchise operations.
• Manage and organize franchise-related documentation and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external legal counsel to facilitate efficient communication and workflow.
• Assist with filings and registrations as required by state and federal laws.
• Support the legal team with various projects, including litigation support and contract management.
• Stay updated on changes in franchise laws and regulations that may impact the business.

Requirements

What is required...

• Associate's degree or a Paralegal Certificate is strongly preferred; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in franchise, corporate, or real estate law.
• Strong understanding of the franchise industry, relevant laws, and regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and document preparation.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with legal database management systems.
