About Pritzker College Prep
Pritzker College Prep (PCP) opened its doors in August of 2006 in Hermosa, a neighborhood on Chicago’s northwest side. Pritzker’s nearly 1000 students predominantly call Hermosa and surrounding neighborhoods home, contributing to the sentiment that Pritzker College Prep is a neighborhood high school. A college going culture is embedded in everything Pritzker does. The school aims to create an environment where students thrive academically, achieve equitable access to opportunities, and develop confidence as learners so that students are prepared to graduate from college and lead choice-filled lives. Pritzker College Prep takes great pride in the numerous extracurricular opportunities made available to students through sports, clubs and external partnerships. The next principal of PCP will inherit a vibrant school community that is poised to achieve an even higher level of excellence than what’s already been accomplished.
