Job Summary:
You will work with the GSA MAS Program Manager to maintain up-to-date pricing with manufacturer partners as well as getting pricing for one-time quotes and spot buys. You will help the PM work with new suppliers to get all necessary information, including pricing, photographs, and other catalog material. This position will also work with the vendors to ensure the latest delivery information on individual orders.
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
- Source items to ensure most-competitive pricing on open bids and spot buys.
- Work with manufacturer and distributor partners to get necessary information to add material and SINs and keep existing catalogs current.
- Build a general understanding and product knowledge of new commodities.
- Work with vendors on open orders to get delivery dates and tracking information as available.
- Maintain current and accurate information on GSA PO Portal and shares delivery and tracking information with end users when requested.
- Help PM build and maintain a qualified supply base to add materials to new and existing SINs.
- Process discrepancy reports and works with vendors to resolve customer issues.
- Participate in ongoing department training to stay aware of process changes and new systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Higher education or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in procurement, or supply chain preferred. May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience obtained while in the service in lieu of civilian experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to engage in and exchange communication with others in all situations.
- Self-driven and proactive in nature. Takes initiative to resolve challenges.
- Highly meticulous and organized to execute multiple projects at once, adhering to deadlines.
- Ability to utilize Internet tools for research purposes.
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

Pay: $40,108 - $45,837
