Job Title: Vice President – Retail Sales

Summary:

The Vice President of Retail Sales at 1915 South/ Ashley is a newly established leadership role crucial for driving the company’s growth in key markets across the southeastern United States. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing dynamic sales strategies, leading and empowering sales teams, and enhancing operational efficiency to maximize revenue and market share. By fostering a high-performance culture and prioritizing exceptional customer experiences, the Vice President will play a pivotal role in expanding the brand’s footprint, strengthening market presence, and achieving sustainable business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales System Development: Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales system to drive profitable revenue growth across all 1915 South/ Ashley Furniture store locations.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement.

Performance Management: Set clear sales targets and KPIs, regularly monitor performance, and implement corrective actions to achieve and exceed sales objectives.

Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and optimize product offerings.

Customer Experience Optimization: Ensure exceptional in-store guest experiences by implementing effective sales processes, customer service standards, and employee training programs.

Partnership and Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and business partners to support sales initiatives and brand growth.

Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with operations, marketing, and supply chain/ distribution teams to streamline processes, improve inventory management, and enhance overall retail performance.

Budget Management: Oversee sales budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with company goals and maximizing profitability.

Brand Representation: Represent the 1915 South/ Ashley brand with professionalism and integrity in the community and industry events, enhancing brand recognition and loyalty.

Innovation and Adaptation: Identify and implement innovative sales techniques, technologies, and promotional campaigns to stay ahead in a competitive retail market.

Qualifications:

Bachelors of Science or Equivalent Experience

15+ Years of Retail Sales Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

7+ Years of Retail Leadership Experience
