SUMMARY: Groundfloor is on the hunt for a seasoned marketing leader to shape, build, and spearhead our corporate brand & marketing efforts. In this role, you'll lead the development and execution of marketing initiatives at the corporate level, reporting directly to the CEO. In this high-impact role, you will oversee branding, help coordinate public relations, drive shareholder communications, and assist with company events while supporting and aligning marketing efforts across Lending and Investing business units. This position is pivotal in shaping the company’s overarching marketing strategy and ensuring consistent, impactful messaging across all stakeholder groups..

A DAY IN THE LIFE: 

Brand Strategy and Management

  • Lead the development and evolution of the company’s corporate brand, ensuring consistency across all business units and communication channels.
  • Establish and enforce brand guidelines to maintain a unified and recognizable identity.
  • Collaborate with business unit marketing teams to integrate the corporate brand into their strategies and campaigns.

Corporate Marketing Campaigns

  • Design and execute corporate-level marketing campaigns that promote the company’s values, initiatives, and achievements to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the creation of corporate marketing content tailored to investors, partners, employees, and other key audiences.
  • Partner with business units to provide tools and resources that enhance their marketing efforts.

Shareholder and External Communications

  • Collaborate with the CEO, senior leadership, and investor relations team to craft compelling communication materials for shareholders and investors.
  • Oversee the production of quarterly and annual reports, investor presentations, and other shareholder-focused content.
  • Support the planning and promoting of investor events, such as webinars and shareholder meetings.
  • Guide corporate communications, including executive messaging, public relations, and thought leadership efforts.
  • Foster relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and external stakeholders to amplify the company’s profile.
  • Drive awareness and boost brand sentiment through targeted campaigns, ensuring the company becomes a recognized leader in real estate investing.
  • Manage crisis communication strategies in alignment with the executive team.

Collaboration Across Business Units

  • Act as a central marketing resource, collaborating to set  strategic direction and providing support to business unit marketing teams.
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices, tools, and resources to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts are integrated and aligned with broader corporate objectives.
  • Define and execute the corporate brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee global event strategy, including industry conferences and internal events, to drive brand visibility.

Requirements

YOUR EXPERIENCE + A FEW NICE TO HAVES:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience creating and executing integrated marketing strategies, ideally in fintech, financial services, or real estate.
  • Proven ability to align marketing efforts with business goals to drive measurable results.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with product, finance, and leadership teams.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and can manage projects autonomously
