Full Job Description
We are looking for a responsible Assistant Manager to help organize and run our field operations and fill in for the our parking enforcement staff (booting technicians) when needed. Your job will be highly important in ensuring our organization meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager responsibilities include monitoring inventory, client meetings to ensure satisfaction, marketing and advertising, following up with new clients via email, phone call and in-person appointments, and assisting with the installation of new signage and security cameras on properties.
Our ideal candidate will have strong relationship building skills with a sharp business mindset. You should also be skilled at organizing and solving problems. Interpersonal and mediation skills will also be very useful, since you’ll often be acting as a liaison between managers, employees and customers. Ultimately, the duties of the Assistant Manager are to make sure our company operates effectively, and that we keep our clients happy.
Responsibilities
- Assist the President and others Managers in planning and implementing strategies to attract new clients
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
- Monitor and maintain inventory of staff uniforms, hardware, body cameras and more
- Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
- Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
- Coach and support new and existing booting technicians
- Suggest sales training programs and techniques
- Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
- Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning
- Handle complaints from customers
- Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar position
- Experience with recruiting and performance evaluation processes
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- No college education needed. Experience and personality is more important than a college degree
