The Overnight Event Support Specialist is responsible for the efficient setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring that the wedding venue is impeccably prepared for each event and thoroughly cleaned for the next event. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the venue’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation, contributing to a seamless and positive experience for guests and event coordinators.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up event spaces according to provided layouts, including tables, chairs, and decorations.
- Breakdown and reset event spaces after weddings, ensuring all items are properly stored or disposed of.
- Clean and maintain the facility, including floors, restrooms, and common areas, to ensure it is ready for the next event.
- Handle minor maintenance tasks as needed, such as checking equipment and reporting damages.
- Follow safety guidelines and venue protocols during all tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to life and move furniture, equipment, and other items as required up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently overnight with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Part-Time with a Full-Time option
Work Location: On-Site
Schedule: Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
