Full Job Description

ProVal Technologies is a consulting firm for Managed IT Service providers, helping them navigate and manage their suite of technology products to support end customers. Our team helps MSP's leverage best practices and efficiencies across their tools and technologies, to make MSP's more efficient and profitable. ProVal also takes on operational capabilities in managing non-customer-facing work for MSP's so they can focus their teams on building customer relationships.

ProVal is looking for a goal-oriented marketing and communications leader to strengthen our company’s strategic positioning, brand development, and help grow market share as we expand. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with our sales and leadership team to create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy. Our ideal candidate is a visionary, able to develop long-term marketing plans, as well as jump in where they are needed to execute. The individual will perform a mix of projects and daily tasks (which include but are not limited to the below).

  • Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid
  • Job requires ability to work in Orlando (Altamonte Springs) office 2-3 times per week

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an expert resource and advisor to the leadership team as it pertains to determining the overall company marketing direction, development and messaging.
  • Create a comprehensive marketing strategy and budget based on the direction adopted by the leadership team, with tasks and budget tied to measurable goals.
  • Oversee strategic direction for advertising, promotions, events, online marketing, social media, and developing new marketing outreach initiatives for all aspects of the organization.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify key business objectives and requirements, develop marketing project briefs, and prepare effective, supporting marketing plans including strategies, tactics, schedules and cost estimates.
  • Oversee all corporate branding and collateral development to ensure a consistent brand experience throughout all internal and external consumer touch points.
  • Originate and manage website content development and updates. Consult with outside vendors as needed for technical website development and maintenance.
  • Cultivate and advance positive ongoing partnerships and relationships with key community leaders, stakeholders and media, in and outside of the MSP industry, to further increase brand awareness and company goodwill.
  • Manage all company PR campaigns, nurture relationships with local, national, and international media and serves as one of the company spokespeople.
  • Participate in content creation for and oversee ProVal’s social media presence across all platforms.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in marketing communications, with at least 3 years in a marketing leadership role.
  • Broad knowledge of all facets of traditional and digital marketing, including product marketing, demand generation and media strategies.
  • Have a demonstrated record of developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns that get results.
  • Strong leadership skills, including vision-setting, coaching, team building, empowerment and cross-functional leadership.
  • Proven ability to develop and edit high-quality written materials, briefing documents, press and educational materials for digital and traditional media.

  • Experience in designing internal and external marketing collateral.
  • Excellent communicator with ability to exercise a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to broadly influence and effectively forge partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Proactive, self-starter.
  • High level of professionalism, maturity, and political savvy.
  • Identify and be an early adopter of marketing trends and innovations.
  • Ability to create big ideas by leveraging media and community partnerships in the MSP industry.
