Laboratory Technician - Primary and Urgent Care Clinic

Key Responsibilities:

As a Laboratory Technician at BeeperMD, you will be essential in delivering high-quality laboratory services within our Primary and Urgent Care Clinic.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting laboratory tests on patient samples, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Preparing specimens for testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and pipetting.
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including performing routine calibrations and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Documenting and reporting test results promptly, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborating with medical staff to facilitate patient care and support decision-making based on laboratory results.
• Keeping the laboratory clean and organized, ensuring all supplies are adequately stocked.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

● Certification or degree in a laboratory-related field (Preferred).

● Medical Assistants, EMTs, Paramedics, CNAs (Preferred).

● Experience working in a lab environment is a plus but not required – training will be

provided.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in operating laboratory equipment and software.

Additional Requirements:

• Active Driver’s License.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred).
• Must pass a background check.
