About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paid Search and Social Media Planner to develop and execute integrated paid advertising campaigns. This role emphasizes collaboration and identifying cross-channel opportunities to maximize performance, optimize spend, and achieve client objectives. This role will be part of a larger performance media team to create key synergies with -commerce/retail media and programmatic media for holistic activation. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development:
    • Design and implement comprehensive paid search and paid social strategies that align with client goals.
    • Conduct thorough keyword research and audience segmentation to identify growth opportunities, leveraging insights from both channels
  2. Campaign Management & Budget Management:
    • Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of paid search and paid social media campaigns across platforms like Google, Bing, SA360, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok / TikTok Search Ads, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, X and others.
    • Manage campaign builds, budgets, bids, pacing, to ensure maximum ROI based on campaign parameters
    • Working knowledge of Pixel tracking & UTM tagging
  3. Cross-Channel Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams to identify and leverage cross-channel marketing opportunities that enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
    • Share insights and strategies across paid search and social media to create a unified approach that maximizes impact.
  4. Performance Optimization:
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
    • Conduct A/B testing and implement optimization strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
    • Deliver relevant insights for actionable optimizations that ladder up to brand and business goals.
  5. Data Analysis:
    • Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Skai, Datorama) to track performance, generate reports, and derive actionable insights.
    • Keyword Analysis Tool Experience (SpyFu, SEMRush, etc)
    • Focus on storytelling through data to share holistic performance updates and recommendations to clients based on data analysis.
  6. Client Communication:
    • Act as a primary point of contact for cross-functional teams regarding paid search and paid social campaigns.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships by delivering insights and strategic recommendations, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  7. Trend Monitoring:
    • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in paid search and paid social advertising.
    • Share relevant insights with clients and the team to foster continuous improvement in campaign strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital media, specifically focused on paid search and paid social media. Agency experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of client facing experience presenting media plan recommendations and reporting on campaign performance,
  • Proven track record of managing successful paid search and paid social campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tools like Google Ads/SA360, Skai, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
