We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Event Manager to lead the ideation, development, and execution of high-impact events that align with our sales strategies and elevate the overall client experience. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales team, partners, and marketing, to ensure that every event serves as a strategic touchpoint, driving business objectives, fostering client relationships, and enhancing brand presence. 

The Event Manager will also be tasked with researching and securing venues, planning, and managing the events' calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with marketing campaigns, monitoring timeframes and budgets, and supporting digital marketing projects. 

Requirements

    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop event strategies that align with business goals, sales targets, and key client segments. Contribute creative ideas and solutions that reflect the unique needs of each event, from client engagements.
    • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and client services teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment of event goals. Work closely with sales leaders to identify client pain points and opportunities for engagement through targeted events.
    • Design and execute tailored event experiences that deliver exceptional value to clients, fostering stronger relationships and creating a memorable brand impression. Ensure that each event creates opportunities for networking, lead generation.
    • Ensure that all events reflect the company's brand values, messaging, and positioning. Utilize events as an opportunity to showcase the company’s thought leadership, industry expertise, and commitment to client success. 
    • Establish metrics for event success, including client feedback, engagement levels, and business outcomes. Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of events, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Develop event timelines, ensuring all resources are allocated appropriately. 
    • Liaise and negotiate with vendors ensuring events are executed at the highest quality and within budget.  
    • Coordinate event team to create promotional materials and ensure event information is effectively communicated to target audiences. 
    • Contribute to the selection and utilization of event execution applications for both in person and virtual events.   
    • Researching and securing event venues; ensuring venues meet event objectives, attendees’ needs, and remain in budget.  
    • Lead the onsite management of events, including registration and attendee management, and ensure a seamless experience for all participants. 
    • Manage event contracts from execution to processing through to payment. 
    • Leverage internal systems to track and manage event artifacts and surveys. 
    • Manage event guest and sponsor registrations. 
    • Contribute to event related social media strategy.  
    • Manage pre and post event invoicing, including the submission for marketing development funds. 
    • Effective at both leading and delegating event planning tasks. 
    • Support Digital Content Specialist with digital and social media content creation.  
    • Assist Digital Content Specialist with special Marketing projects.  
    • Serve as a brand ambassador at EVOTEK and industry events. 

Qualifications include but not limited to:

    • 4+ years’ experience planning and managing corporate internal and client-facing events. 
    • Ability to travel; this role requires approximately 25% - 50% travel.
    • Previous experience with digital content creation as it relates to event communication and participation.
    • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
    • Ability to effectively lead an event team and delegate tasks.  
    • Ability to coordinate with different vendors. 
    • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate well with the entire event staff and participants. 
    • Expert level interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships with event vendors and sponsors. 
    • Project management experience.
    • Highly organized. 
    • Proficiency in various event management software. 

Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with years’ of experience, technical expertise and geographic location.
  • Salary range: $67,000 to $85,000.
