Lab Technician (Entry Level)

Overview:

This non-licensed position provides general support for the laboratory following established policies and procedures. Is under general and/or direct and constant supervision of licensed personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Logs, labels, and processes specimens and paperwork for testing.
• Prepares and/or aliquots pre-analytical reagents and media.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Accurately performs transcription and data entry.
• Demonstrates initiative in making suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity and provides consistent feedback.
• Organizes and processes clinical specimens accurately. Identifies worksheet, computer and specimen problems and demonstrates ability to either resolve or elevate to licensed personnel appropriately.

We are looking for a Metallurgical Lab Technician to prepare heat-treated components and conduct testing to analyze material structures, microhardness, and case depth using specialized metallurgical equipment. • Perform metallurgical testing to analyze material structure, hardness, case depth, and other tests as required
• Conduct testing quickly and follow all required specifications to meet production deadlines
• Review test results, compare results to the specifications, prepare reports, and approve materials based on criteria and requirements
