Floor Lead

The INSC Lead will be a shop floor lead who operates and addresses daily business, demonstrates standard work practices, identifies areas of improvement, and provides aid/resources where special efforts are required.  There must be a full knowledge and expertise of all Geoprobe® and DRILLMAX® equipment, shop floor OneNote, and SAP data entry.  In addition, the individual must have effective communication skills with the trust and confidence of current and future team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting
• Strong computer and written communication skills
• Experienced operating a forklift or reach truck (on an as-needed basis)
• Comfortable with a pre-employment drug and background screening
• Reliable transportation to make it to work daily
• Bilingual in english and spanish

Summary

Work on the Cut Floor area of the pork production line performing repetitive tasks that may require the use of knives and machinery. Will need to be able and willing to work in all positions within the line that they are assigned. Will need to have the ability to lead a team. Work in consistent cold temperature conditions of 41 degrees Fahrenheit while wearing proper the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following all safety and food safety requirements.

Work in a fast pace area where the task may require repetition with the use of tools such as knives, saws, and whizard knives.
