The Field Service Engineer I interacts directly with the customer at its place of business to develop the methods and processes best suited to meet the requirements of integrating products into the customer’s operations. The Field Service Engineer provides on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, moderate PLC program modifications, preventative maintenance, training of customer’s personnel, system audits and installation of various retrofits to material handling equipment.
In addition to the basic services provided, the Field Service Engineer II is responsible for planned and emergency service calls varying from mechanical, electrical, system control issues and may assist with equipment installation and subcontractor management.
