POSITION PURPOSE

Under general supervision of the Education/ Staff Development Director, the RN Educator is responsible for the overall nurse residency program in support of the professional model of nursing practice at Huntsville Memorial Hospital and provides clerical and instructional support related to staff development and education for the institution. The incumbent is responsible for the assessment of orientation and training program needs, development, and execution of program objectives, and evaluation and ongoing improvement of a competency based orientation for the nurse resident. The Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE) will be responsible for leading and directing the efforts of a team of field-based, contracted CNEs. The Manager provides operational support for executing the CNE strategy and delivering on the annual objectives and initiatives.

The Manager will ensure the CNE team effectively works with HCPs (staff responsible for injection training) to educate on product and device education to support patients. The Manager will ensure the CNE team is focused on patient education via live and telephonic touchpoints with supplemental educational support to HCPs as time allows. The Manager will ensure the CNE team complies with all corporate policies.

The Position

We seek to fill an RN – Clinical Nurse Educator role in the Philadelphia, PA area. The candidate will evaluate the effectiveness of educational measures implemented for the purpose of improving patient outcomes through communication with managers and nursing staff.
