Associate Medical Laboratory Technician

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and driven Associate Medical Laboratory Technician to join our core lab team in Birmingham, AL. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience in hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation, working with advanced equipment like Beckman Coulter DXH, Iris, and Stago Body Fluid analyzers.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct routine medical laboratory tests critical for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases.
• Set up, maintain, and clean lab equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collect, analyze, and record test data to produce comprehensive reports using charts, graphs, and narratives.
• Analyze specimens to isolate and identify microorganisms, and consult with pathologists for abnormal findings.
• Ensure test results meet quality standards through precise analysis and reporting.
