Position Overview

As a Social Studies teacher, you will have the opportunity to create an impact in the lives of students that will last a lifetime. Teaching is difficult work, but it is among the most rewarding jobs. Curriculum Development and Instruction

• Adapt and execute a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum
• Develop academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments
• Use data to inform instructional decisions
• Provide students with daily feedback on performance and plan for individual learning needs
• Differentiate instruction to ensure that all students are progressing
