8th Grade English Language Arts Teacher 25-26 SY

As an ELA teacher you will have the opportunity to create an impact in the lives of students that will last a lifetime. Teaching is difficult work, but it is among the most rewarding jobs. We pride ourselves on providing a culturally rich curriculum that is equally as rigorous. Being a part of this team means that you will find creative ways to empower students to think critically and creatively. Job duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Curriculum Development and Instruction

• Adapt and execute a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum
• Develop academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments
• Use data to inform instructional decisions
• Provide students with daily feedback on performance and plan for individual learning needs
• Differentiate instruction to ensure that all students are progressing
