1354-Manufacturing Cost Account Supervisor

Job purpose

Maintain detailed costs in the company's system while providing cost and variance analysis that supports operations and sales contributions to the company’s growth

Duties and responsibilities

• Work with operations to set up, analyze and maintain standard costs in the company ERP system
• Analyze, report, and reconcile daily manufacturing and purchase price variances
• Perform operational cost analysis, including logistics and freight costs.
• Work with productions, production management, engineering and R&D teams in developing new product costing estimates for new and existing products
• Maintain inventory and COGS accuracy and perform capitalized variances analysis
• Perform month-end close activities (journal entries, fixed assets, account reconciliation and analysis, etc.)
• Assist in overall fixed assets and inventory management in the company ERP system
