About the Role
The Banquet Supervisor reports directly to the Manager Banquets and is responsible for developing strong relationships with groups while handling all the details that go into ensuring excellence from the contract to the event execution.
Role Responsibilities
- Meet with Food & Beverage Department prior to the event to do other specifics of the event
- Monitor and ensure that functions are set up, refreshed and broken down in compliance with scheduled times and departmental procedures
- Set tables and chairs according to standards
- Have open communication with the Executive Chef or Banquet Sous Chef in regard to timing or if any changes need to be made
- Check that Banquet Servers and Bartenders are on time and in proper uniform
- Must be able to prepare or adjust the weekly server/bartender schedule and attend BEO meetings as scheduled
