Atlanta Editor in Georgia

Capital B is an award-winning local and national news organization reporting for Black communities across the country with a mission of producing excellent civic journalism, engaging communities to build trust, and fighting misinformation. After three years in operation, we have published hundreds of stories, reached hundreds of thousands of people and impacted many lives. Now we are looking for a new, creative and entrepreneurial editor to lead our largest local newsroom, Atlanta, and take our dedicated Atlanta team to the next level of excellence.

The Atlanta editor will be responsible for managing and expanding a team of four reporters, one editor and one community ambassador and overseeing the operations of a hybrid newsroom located in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of South West Atlanta.
